Junior Estimator – Demolition & Excavation
We are looking for a junior estimator to support our team in preparing bids and analyzing projects.
Qualifications
Training in estimating, civil engineering or equivalent
1 to 2 years of experience (an asset)
Good understanding of plans, estimates, and calculations
Proficiency in Excel, Office 365, Outlook (estimation software: an asset)
Rigour, organisation, team spirit
Responsibilities
Read and analyze plans and estimates
Calculate the quantities (soil, materials to be demolished, transport, backfill, etc.)
Obtain pricing from our suppliers/subcontractors
Prepare estimates and cost sheets
Collaborating with the estimation team
